Another strain of Einkorn, the most ancient type of wheat.
When the 5,300 year old body of the "Icemean" was discovered preserved by ice in the Alps, grains of Einkorn were found in his belongings.
We were thrilled to find afarmer who is growing this ancient variety so that we could make bigger packets.
Spring-planted, 2.5-3 feet tall, very rare.
