Legumes grow best and produce more net nitrogen if inoculated with a bacteria culture. Bacteria are the creatures actually responsible for fixing nitrogen on the roots of nitrogen-fixing plants. Especially helpful when planting a crop for the first time. These cultures are plant specific, so be sure to choose the correct type.
To Use: Put beans in a bowl and sprinkle with water to dampen slightly. Add appropriate amount of innoculant and mix to coat. Must be planted immediately or protected from sun, air, and heat which will kill the bacteria. Seal and store unused innoculant in the fridge but no longer than one season. Innoculant is finely milled peat with bacteria cultures - not toxic.
