Every garden should have flowers for their beautiful bright colors and lovely scents, which not only reward the gardener but also attract beneficial insects and repel some pests. Many of the varieties that we offer have other benefits, such as edible flowers, medicinal properties, etc.
We offer an attractive and interesting range of flower which are easy to grow from seed. It is best to start flower off in flats - annual weeds can swamp seedlings as they first emerge. Some flowers listed elsewhere in this catalog are: Vegetables: Runner Beans-especially Painted Lady, Herbs: Borage, Echinacea (Cone Flower), Feverfew, Lavender, GM/Grains: Purple Vetch, Crimson Clover, Quinoa.

| Water Saving Mix, West |
| 45-90 days. In large areas of our country, water is being depleted faster than it can be replaced. These flower mixes are designed to provide gorgeous swathes of color, draw beneficial insects, restore native plant/pollinator webs, and use little or no irrigation. (Save the water for your vegetables.) Use this mix for areas west of a line running from the Minnesota/Dakotas border to East Texas. Plants 200 square feet.
