DESCRIPTION: Heirloom from 1866. Upright, compact plants 30" wide form firm pointed heads to 9" with mild flavor and good keeping qualities. Thick, firm leaves are blue-green and wavy. Sheds rain and weather well. Good choice for kraut or cooking, and produces a lot of food in a small space.
