Annual. Also called Kalmegh and Kariyat. Very popular in Scandinavia to treat the common cold, flu and upper respiratory conditions. Used as an immune-system booster and bitter tonic. Has been shown to have anticancer and antioxidant properties. Easy to grow; shrubby with open foliage and unusual pink flowers.

One packet will plant 35 sq ft when using 12-24” spacing in the bed.
