SECTION: Flowers, Butterfly Weed, Asclepias tuberosa
Favorite food source for monarch butterflies, and a beautiful flower for the garden. Attracts beneficial pest-fighting insects as well. Nice cut flower. Remember that monarch butterflies start out as caterpillars with narrow black white and green, vertical stripes. They will stay on the butterfly weed and turn into glorious butterflies.
