Brad Lancaster, 2006, 179 pp.
SECTION: Self Sufficiency, Filled with illustrations and examples, this is an excellent introduction to the harvesting, storing, conserving and use of water in gardens and landscapes. Excellent for gardeners in arid regions, and useful for others as well, especially as we face climate change. Includes lots of good ideas for layout of property, paving and plantings to direct water into the garden area and away from the street, and ways to use greywater in the garden. NOTE: Greywater should be used for trees and shrubs, not vegetables. Laws regarding rainwater capture vary from state to state.
