We don’t feel her techniques will work in every soil, and we still double-dig to get soil into shape, but this is a wonderful video of a sassy and determined gardener. Ruth expounds on both her gardening methods (which fed her family year-round) and her philosophy of life. She was 92 when this film was made, and it is absolutely delightful. VHS or DVD format.
