PACKET INSTRUCTIONS: Start in flats as soon as ground can be worked. Here, that is in February, 3 months before our last frost date. In cold regions it may be much later, but start as early as you can. Transplant 5" apart when 2-3" high. It can also be broadcast when soil temps reach 40 degrees. Cease watering when 85% of the seed heads have changed color and harvest when almost all the heads are dry. Hang to dry fully in a well ventilated, dry, cool area. Dry fully before storing.

DESCRIPTION: Heirloom wheat from the 1700’s for spring planting. A soft white wheat variety, known for its wonderful flavor. At one time the Southwest and California were major wheat producers because of the variety. Very drought tolerant.
