PACKET INSTRUCTIONS: Start in flats 3 month before last frost. Transplant 5" apart when 2-3" high. They can also be broadcasted when soil temps reach 40 degrees and soil can be worked. Cease watering when 85% of the seed heads are golden and harvest when seeds can not be cut with your thumbnail. Cut stalks as close to the soil as possible (leaving roots in garden bed to decompose). Hang your harvest to dry in a cool, well ventilated area until it is completely dry. Then thresh and winnow.
