PACKET INSTRUCTIONS: Start seed in flats. Transplant 30" apart after all danger of frost is past. Prefers a slightly acid soil that is light, fertile, deep and well-drained- but should do well in any good garden soil that isn't too basic. One of the most drought-hardy plants after it is established. Mulch well to further conserve moisture. Remove late-set fruit to encourage growth.
