BOTANICAL NAME: Solanum lycopersicum
DESCRIPTION: Early. Determinant. If you've been looking for a tomato to grow in containers and hanging baskets that has great flavor and is very early and open-pollinated, you will love Whippersnapper. The plant we grew in a 3-gallon pot produced literally hundreds of tomatoes, almost covering the foliage. In the ground, quite a sprawling plant. Grape-shaped, sweet fruit. Needs less sun than other tomatoes. Thanks to Dan Ludwig for sending the seed for this gem.
