We have chosen what we think are the best varieties for home garden use. When starting out growing tomatoes it is best to try a number of varieites, since some do well in some gardens and not as well in others. We have found that a slight change in micro-climate, even if close by, has an effect on which varieties produce best.
All of our varieties are open-pollinated, untreated, and of heirloom quality. Their germination and growth should be excellent. Some are organic, while others are biointensive and Grow Biointensive (TM) sustainably grown seed.
Days to Maturity figures are really just for comparing between varieties within a category. Actual days will vary from location to location, depending on garden conditions.
