PACKET LABEL INSTRUCTIONS: A vigorous climbing variety - growing 6+ ft tall. Plant 6" apart in well composted soil after all danger of frost is past and soil has warmed to 70 degrees (Romanos require warmer conditions to germinate than other beans and germination can be slower). Should have PH 6 or above. Using our Garden Combo Inoculant helps plant produce nitrogen and can increase yields. Keep well watered or apply mulch to control moisture. Keep well weeded or mulched avoid damaging the roots with hoe or cultivator. If growing for dry beans - harvest when pods are dry and beans can hardly be dented when bitten, or when beans are bulging through pods. Harvest continuously so plants will set more beans.
