GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Broadcast seed in well-bug and composted beds in spring or early summer after the soil is warm. This is a quick growing plant. May be used as a "nurse crop" by hoeing small areas of open soil into the buckwheat bed and transplanting cabbage or other pest-susceptible crop into them. Buckwheat may be harvested for compost or turned in during the Fall. Frost will kill it. Matures in 9-13 weeks. Sow about one packets per 100 square feet.
